Brownlow Health’s Rachel Gaskell Featured by National Academy for Social Prescribing
Wednesday, 24 June 2026We’re proud to see Rachel Gaskell from Brownlow Health contributing to a national conversation through the National Academy for Social Prescribing, highlighting the importance of inclusive, community-based care for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
The blog, titled “Sitting in the In-Between: What I've Learned Supporting LGBTQIA+ Communities,” reflects on the experiences and insights gained through supporting individuals via social prescribing pathways. It emphasises the need for continued learning, meaningful conversations, and approaches that centre lived experience.
The contribution aligns with Brownlow Health’s ongoing commitment to reducing health inequalities and strengthening neighbourhood health across Liverpool. Social prescribing remains a key part of this work, enabling patients to access non-clinical support tailored to their unique needs.
Brownlow Health is proud to support initiatives that promote inclusion and equity, and to contribute to the wider conversation on improving outcomes for underserved communities.
